ILTE signs €964 million in financing agreements in first half of 2026

LithuaniaData released

Lithuania’s national development bank ILTE signed financing agreements worth €964 million in the first half of 2026, 1.7 times more than during the same period last year.

Business financing accounted for €806 million of the total, while €126 million was committed to the public sector and €29 million to agriculture.

Small and medium-sized companies received €435 million under more than 1,700 agreements. ILTE said financing during the period supported business investment, manufacturing and other development projects.

The amount actually disbursed during the first six months reached €510 million, more than twice the level recorded a year earlier. The distinction is important: the €964 million figure represents signed financing agreements rather than money already paid out to borrowers.

ILTE’s capital has meanwhile increased to €515.4 million as Lithuania expands the role of the state development bank in financing the economy.
