Context

January industrial growth across the Baltics was strongly influenced by an unusually cold winter, which boosted electricity and gas demand.

Manufacturing output grew only modestly, suggesting that part of the industrial surge reflects weather-driven energy production rather than a broad industrial rebound.

February data will show whether underlying industrial demand is strengthening once the temperature effect fades. BSM © 2026
