Latvenergo adopts Elektrum as its common Baltic brand

BalticAnnounced

Latvia’s state-owned energy group Latvenergo has adopted Elektrum as its common brand for electricity generation and energy sales across Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia from 29 October.

The move is intended to strengthen the group’s presence outside Latvia and support further international expansion. Elektrum already serves around 900,000 customers across the three Baltic countries, while sales in Lithuania and Estonia account for approximately 40% of the group’s total turnover.

Latvenergo will retain its legal name for corporate and regulatory purposes. The change brings its regional operations under a single public-facing identity rather than creating a new corporate structure.
