Ignitis ON opens 2 MW fast-charging park in Vilnius

Ignitis ON has opened an expanded electric vehicle charging park at the Nordika shopping complex in Vilnius, with ten 200 kW charging stations capable of serving 20 vehicles simultaneously.

The upgraded facility, announced on 14 October, replaces existing equipment with new-generation Alpitronic chargers. Four charging spaces are designed to accommodate electric vans and vehicles towing trailers, extending the park’s use beyond ordinary passenger cars.

The site currently has a combined capacity of 2 MW and has been prepared for a possible second expansion phase. Depending on demand, individual chargers could be upgraded to 400 kW, doubling the park’s total capacity to 4 MW.

Ignitis ON operates more than 2,100 charging points across Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
