Ignitis prices €300 million European Green Bonds as investor demand exceeds €1 billion

LithuaniaCompleted

Lithuania’s state-controlled energy group Ignitis Group has priced a €300 million European Green Bond issue, attracting more than €1 billion in investor orders — over three times the amount offered.

The five-year bonds carry a fixed annual coupon of 4.5% and mature on 27 October 2031. They were priced at 99.676% of nominal value, with a spread of 115 basis points over the mid-swap rate. Settlement is scheduled for 27 October 2026.

The transaction attracted more than 80 institutional investors from Europe and other markets.

The proceeds will support eligible green investments, including electricity distribution networks, renewable generation, energy storage and EV charging infrastructure. The company also intends to use funds raised to refinance existing debt, including a tender offer for its €300 million bonds maturing in July 2027.

The new bonds are expected to be listed in Luxembourg and on Nasdaq Vilnius.
