INDEXO prepares leadership change as Pizičs joins bank management

Latvia’s INDEXO Bank is preparing a leadership transition, with Jānis Pizičs scheduled to join its management team on 26 October and subsequently take over as chairman of the management board, subject to approval by Latvijas Banka.

The bank announced the planned changes on 14 October. Current chairman Valdis Siksnis intends to move to supervisory roles on the boards of the bank and the wider INDEXO group, subject to the necessary approvals.

The transition would bring new leadership to one of Latvia’s newer banking groups as it continues developing its retail banking operations. Until regulatory clearance is obtained, the proposed appointments remain pending.
