Latvian central bank grants MiCA licence to Atrya Technologies
Latvijas Banka has granted Atrya Technologies SIA a licence to provide crypto-asset services under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, or MiCA.
The licence allows the Riga-registered company to provide custody and administration of crypto-assets for clients and crypto-to-crypto exchange services. Through the EU cross-border notification mechanism, the company can provide these services across the European market.
Atrya is the 12th company authorised by Latvijas Banka to provide crypto-asset services since the EU introduced its unified regulatory framework for the sector.
