Lithuania’s Galinta to acquire Estonian Baltix brand owner Worldline
Lithuanian food producer Galinta has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of Estonia’s Worldline, the company behind the Baltix brand of packaged rice, groats and other grain products. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
Worldline supplies major Estonian retail chains, while its Baltix brand ranks among the three largest in its category, according to the buyer. The acquisition is expected to add approximately €2.1 million in annual revenue to Galinta, which reported group revenue of €37.9 million in 2025.
Owned by the INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund, Galinta has been expanding its position in the Baltic food industry. In 2025, it acquired Lithuanian buckwheat processor Ekofrisa. The latest transaction gives the group an established consumer brand and a stronger distribution position in Estonia.
Completion is expected by the end of 2026, subject to approval from the Estonian Competition Authority and other closing conditions.
