Ryanair links further Baltic investment to lower airport charges
Ryanair says it could significantly expand its Baltic operations if airport charges are reduced, including potentially increasing its Lithuania-based fleet from four to eight aircraft.
The airline has also spoken of potential investment of around €1.6 billion across the Baltic states.
For now, this is not a confirmed investment programme but a conditional proposal made in the context of negotiations over airport costs. It is nevertheless worth watching as Baltic airports compete for airline capacity and routes.
