The strongest Baltic economic signal this week came from the labour market. All three Baltic states are redesigning access for foreign workers while demographic pressure and labour shortages remain part of the economic background. Growth forecasts for Latvia and Estonia improved, but fiscal space remains tight. Investment continued to move into ports, energy storage and defence technology. Rail Baltica and airBaltic remained major stories, but both sit within this broader picture rather than defining it.
