Baltic airport growth remains uneven in August

Passenger traffic continued to grow across the Baltic airports in August, but the pace of expansion remained sharply uneven.

Tallinn and Vilnius again showed the strongest growth, while Riga remained broadly flat compared with a year earlier.

Tallinn’s expansion continues to be supported by additional airline capacity, particularly from Wizz Air, while Lithuania’s three-airport system recorded another monthly passenger record.

The August figures extend the pattern already visible in July: Baltic aviation is growing, but growth is increasingly concentrated outside Riga.
